Cameron Brown - 3rd at Cobra 70.3 Half Ironman Philippines

Posted on Thu., Nov. 17, 2011

Well I just finished the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines and was lucky to get on the podium. After being sick last week it was going to be fine line to see if I could come right but that never eventuated and I struggled out there all day and was blowing crap out of my nose all day long. Pete Jacobs lead from start to finish and won easily. I have never been so happy to see it rain in a race, it poored down throughout the bike leg and cooled things down by 10c! and was overcast during the run leg. If the sun comes out here it's incredibly hot and would have been in the mid 30's. It's now time to get well and start the build up to the Hawaii Ironman World Championships in 8 weeks time.

Thanks again for your support
Cameron
